Before we get into the details about The Nine at Rio, we’ve gathered a few quick facts to give you a feel for the community:

Location
The Nine at Rio is located on the corner of Rio Grande and West 21st Street, about a five-minute walk to the UT Austin campus.
Located in West Campus, The Nine at Rio is walking distance from a variety of student-loved spots such as Cain & Abel’s, Jimmy John’s, and Pluckers. It is directly across the street from Rio Mart, a popular convenience store, and is close to many other apartments such as Villas on Rio, Torre, and Lark.

The Nine at Rio opened in 2019, and it offers amenities including a fitness center and private study rooms with computers and printing. The first-floor resident lounge has activities such as ping pong and pool tables, a video gaming area with Xbox and PlayStation, and a golf simulator.
The Nine at Rio also features a courtyard-style pool deck. Here, you’ll find both poolside and in-pool lounge chairs, a BBQ grill, and a bar area.

The Nine at Rio is a pet-friendly community, and they also offer roommate matching services through the RoomSync app. All rooms come fully furnished, including a smart TV in the living room, hardwood-style flooring, stainless steel appliances, and a full-sized washer and dryer.
Parking
The Nine at Rio offers two floors of parking available in their secured garage. These spots are available at an additional monthly cost on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Nine at Rio has studio, 2×1, 2×2, 3×2, 3×3, 4×2, 4×3, 4×4, and 5×4 floor plan options.
The 2×1, 3×2, 4×3, and 5×4 floor plans all have a loft-style layout, meaning one of the bedrooms is placed upstairs. This bedroom shares a bathroom with one of the rooms downstairs. There is also one lofted studio layout.

Apartments in The Nine at Rio come fully furnished and have a Juliet balcony, except one 4×4 floor plan which has a full balcony facing the courtyard.
